I love decorating!
One of my passions is interior decorating, design and shopping! I think it's important to infuse one's own personality and taste in any decorating project. I'm not a big fan of matching furniture pieces. For me, vintage and eclectic pieces are much more interesting and fun. If I love a particular item, I'll find just the right place for it.
I enjoy visualizing a space that's been transformed with new or repurposed furniture, new paint, accessories and the all important attention to detail and display elements. I have done this with my own homes as well as for client's home I've worked on in the past.
At the height of the real estate boom, I bought an investment property in Glendale, which at the time I thought would only take a few months to "flip". A year later and with luck on our side we were able to make a small profit before the real estate "bubble". Click here to see some before photos.
More recently I purchased a manufactured home by the ocean. We lived there for 4 years while we fixed it up. I was fortunate enough to sell it to a wonderful family and their beautiful bulldog.
My next goal is to have my character dream home with a view of the ocean, somewhere sunny and warm all year long complete with hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and a claw foot tub. In the meantime, here's some photos of the homes I've worked on.
